What You Can Build
36 Visual Styles
Choose from flip clocks, playing cards, cassette tapes, stained glass, vault dials, tape measures, matrix rain, and many more. Every style works with your chosen fonts, colors, and background.
36 End Effects
Finish with rising balloons, fireworks, a black hole, a cracking mirror, origami folds, flickering neon, a gold shimmer, and many more. The ending becomes part of the experience.
Count Down or Count Up
Count down to a future date, count up from a past moment, or run a fixed-duration timer. Time-zone support keeps date-based counters accurate anywhere in the world.
Make Every Detail Yours
Choose fonts, sizes, and colors independently for the title, subtitle, counter, and end message, then add a background that brings every part of your design together.
Optional Sounds
Add a subtle tick while the counter runs and a bell, alert, fanfare, applause, or gong when it ends. Every sound is generated in the browser.
Five Languages
Use Anini Counter in English, Arabic, Spanish, French, or Swedish. Arabic includes a fully right-to-left interface.
Auto-Redirect
When the counter ends, you can automatically send viewers to any URL you choose. Perfect for launches, premieres, and live streams.
Works Offline
After your first visit, Anini Counter is ready to work offline, so you can create, customize, and run counters without an internet connection.
About the Project
What started as a fun side project grew into a powerful and sophisticated counter packed with features and endless ways to create one that reflects your style.
Anini Counter was built around a simple idea: every moment we await and every milestone we mark deserve a counter worth sharing. Behind each moment is a different reason for counting, and that reason should shape how the counter looks and feels.
Choose how time moves, shape every detail, add a memorable finish, and share the result with one link. No account, no ads, and no counter stored on a server. Anini Counter is a thoughtful, practical, and privacy-conscious tool designed to make anticipation, progress, and celebration feel more personal.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I Need an Account?
No. You can create, preview, and share as many counters as you want, and save your favorites in your browser. No sign-up needed.
Is Anini Counter Free?
Yes. Anini Counter is free to use and has no ads.
How Does Sharing Work?
The complete counter configuration is encoded in the URL. Copy the link and anyone who opens it sees the same counter, with no account or setup required.
Where Is My Counter Stored?
Your counter is not stored in a database or saved on a server. Its entire configuration lives in the link itself, and anyone with the link can open it. Counters you save stay in your browser. Anini Counter uses self-hosted, cookieless analytics to record aggregate usage and configuration choices, but never the title, subtitle, end message, or redirect URL you enter.
Can I Save Counters for Later?
Yes. Saved counters stay in your browser and can be reopened from the Saved menu. They are not uploaded or synchronized automatically, but you can export them to a file and import them in another browser or on another device. Clearing your browser data removes your saved counters, so export a backup first if you want to keep them.
Can I Move My Saved Counters to Another Device?
Yes. Open the Saved menu and choose Export to download your saved counters as a file or copy them to the clipboard, then choose Import in the other browser or on the other device. It is entirely local: nothing is uploaded, and you can also share the file with someone so they can import your counters into their own browser.
Can I Count Up as Well as Down?
Yes. Count up from a past date and time to show how long it has been since a birth, anniversary, launch, or any other meaningful milestone. You can also count up through a fixed duration, like a stopwatch that stops at your chosen target.
How Do Time Zones Work?
Choose any IANA time zone when you create a date-based counter. Everyone who opens the link sees the same target moment, wherever they are.
Can I Use Anini Counter Offline?
Yes. After your first visit, Anini Counter is ready to work offline. You can create, customize, preview, save, and run counters without an internet connection, and install it as an app on supported desktop and mobile browsers.
Can I Embed a Counter on My Website?
Yes. Open the Share dialog on the counter page, then copy the embed code to place the counter on your website.
How Many Counters Can I Create?
As many as you like. Each counter is a link, so there is no account limit or server-side counter quota.
